Where the time was going

Premium Paye handles payroll for around 200 client companies. The founder runs the business on his own.

The payroll itself needs his expertise. The admin around it did not. Every month, invoices were rebuilt by hand from the activity recorded in the payroll software. Direct debit amounts were then entered into the bank's platform, client by client. New clients returned their paperwork manually.

None of it was difficult. All of it was necessary. Together it came to around 12 hours a month.
