Make owners and deadlines visible. Use the notes for exceptions, missing documents and decisions that need someone’s judgement.

For the client

Share the steps relevant to them, including what you need and what happens next. Keep internal notes in your own working copy.

When does a checklist become automation?

Once the steps are clear, a signed agreement could create tasks, a form could update records and a missing document could create a reminder draft. Agree the process first, then connect the parts that repeat.
